Job summary

EisnerAmper is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our Outsourced Accounting practice focused on special projects. You will help clients transform their organizations by collaborating on accounting functions, controls, and reporting to meet deadlines and optimize workforce resources.

You will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, month-end close, and financial statement preparation while coordinating with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality outsourced solutions.

• Evaluates client needs related to accounting and finance processes.
• Manages outsourced controller/CFO projects and budgets.
• Ensures month-end close and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates client needs related to accounting and finance processes and assesses accounting function to recommend project approaches.
• Participates in engagement planning and budgeting and definition of content and deliverables while managing controls and risk.
• Manages and delivers on outsourced controller/CFO projects including: coordinating accounts receivable and accounts payable, and remittance to tax authorities.
• Manages month end closing process and prepares financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Researches technical accounting issues and formulates resolutions.
• Implements improvements to client internal accounting processes and controls to align with goals and best practices.
