Job summary

EisnerAmper, a leading accounting firm, seeks an Accounting Manager for its Outsourced Accounting practice in Miami. This hybrid role focuses on special projects, including outsourced controller/CFO work, client relations, and process improvements.

You will oversee day-to-day accounting, manage budgets, and coordinate engagements while delivering high-quality financial statements in line with standards. 5+ years of relevant experience and a CPA preference are valued.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting, audit and/or financial statements experience requested.
• Prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client needs related to accounting and finance processes and propose project approaches.
• Plan engagements, budgeting, and define content and deliverables while managing controls and risk.
• Manage outsourced controller/CFO projects; oversee day-to-day accounting functions and remittances.
• Lead month-end closing and prepare financial statements per applicable accounting standards.
• Research technical accounting issues and propose resolutions.
• Improve client internal accounting processes and internal controls to align with best practices.
• Analyze trends with leadership to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Maintain staffing levels and coordinate scheduling for projects.
• Create and manage project budgets and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
