Job summary

Associated Energy Group (AEG Fuels) is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the accounting team, drive accurate financial reporting, and improve processes across inventory, margin analysis, and master data. The role partners with operations, finance, and technology teams to deliver reliable reporting in a high-transaction environment.

Ideal candidates have strong corporate accounting experience, CPA designation or pursuit, and exceptional analytical and Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
6–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting.
CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification.
Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and internal controls.
Experience managing, mentoring, and reviewing accounting team members.
Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee inventory accounting and gross profit analysis; ensure accuracy of inventory records and pricing.
Lead month-end close and financial reporting processes; prepare supporting schedules.
Strengthen internal controls over accounting and master data; support audits.
Analyze large financial and operational data; develop models and reports for margin and efficiency insights.
