Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA required.
• Minimum 5+ years progressive accounting experience with deep exposure to inventory accounting.
• Experience with perpetual inventory systems and gross profit analysis.
• Hands-on ERP experience (SAP/Oracle) including implementations or major enhancements.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with large datasets.
• Advanced Excel and BI/dat modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting and reporting related to aviation fuel inventory, including perpetual systems, valuation, reserves, and reconciliations.
• Lead detailed gross profit analysis, variance investigation, and root-cause resolution tied to inventory movement, pricing, timing, and master data.
• Ensure inventory balances are complete, accurate, and aligned across terminals, locations, and counterparties.
• Partner with operations, supply, and trading to align physical inventory activity with financial results.
• Lead inventory-related components of month-end close, ensuring accuracy and audit trails.
• Design and maintain strong internal controls over inventory accounting and master data.
• Develop analytical models to support forecasting, margin trends, and operational efficiency.
• Lead ERP implementations and enhancements with focus on inventory modules and data governance.
