Job summary

Fike Corporation in Blue Springs, MO, is seeking a Senior Manager, Environmental Health & Safety to lead the EHS programs, ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001/14001), and drive risk-based strategy across facilities.

You will manage the EHS team, coordinate audits, and partner with cross-functional leaders to implement CAPA actions and training, while maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field required.
• Ten years of experience in EHS, regulatory compliance, or safety engineering.
• Proven leadership, people management, and program ownership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the EHS compliance team.
• Develop and maintain the EHS framework across jurisdictions and facilities.
• Serve as primary interface with regulatory bodies, certifying agencies, and auditors.
• Lead internal and external EHS audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
• Oversee master registry of EHS certifications, permits, and ISO standards; manage renewals.
• Establish EHS risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Lead hazard analyses (HazOps, LOPA, Event Tree) to mitigate enterprise risks.
• Review changes for environmental and safety impact before implementations.
• Lead incident investigations for health, safety, environmental hazards.
• Drive CAPA and root-cause analyses tied to regulatory nonconformance.
• Ensure EHS training aligns with regulatory requirements.
• Lead chemical hazard assessments and HMS labeling protocols.
• Ensure processes minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.
• Provide regular performance feedback and development opportunities for team members.
