Job summary

Bell & Associates, Inc. is seeking a senior accounting leader to own the close and deliver accurate financial reporting across multiple sites. You will ensure GAAP compliance, manage balance sheet integrity, and oversee internal controls while partnering with operations, FP&A, and executive leadership.

The role requires strategic influence, coaching of the accounting team, and collaboration on acquisitions from diligence through integration to strengthen financial governance and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong command of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Leadership of accounting professionals and teams.
• Ability to partner with operations, FP&A, and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting.
• Ensure GL activity, reconciliations, inventories, and cost accounting follow GAAP.
• Review complex accounting matters and drive timely resolution of issues.
• Govern working capital, cash flow, and inventory management.
• Lead inventory accounting, absorption, manufacturing variances, and gross-margin reporting.
• Support due diligence, purchase accounting, and post-close integration for acquisitions.
