Job summary

Los Rios Community College District is seeking an experienced accounting professional to perform complex technical and analytical accounting, budgeting, and related financial activities within the business services administration.

The role involves preparing financial reports, auditing contracts, maintaining accounts, and supporting the district's financial operations; requires two years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience related to the duties of the position.
• Education must be from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Adapt accounting and recordkeeping functions using budgeting, cost, general, property, and tax accounting computerized systems.
• Analyze records of financial transactions to determine accuracy and completeness of entries and make additions and corrections.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis for accounting, budget, payroll, and personnel and related matters.
• Audit contracts and prepare reports to substantiate transactions prior to settlement.
• Maintain and analyze budgets, and prepare periodic reports comparing budgeted to actual costs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business with a concentration in accounting, or a related field

Bachelor's degree in any discipline + 1 year of qualifying experience

60 semester units of coursework + 2 years of qualifying experience
