Job summary

Los Rios Community College District is seeking an experienced accounting/financial analyst to handle complex accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis across district departments. You will work under supervision to ensure accuracy of transactions, prepare reports, and support audits and grant administration.

The role requires two years of related experience and a relevant degree or equivalent combination.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience related to the duties of the position.
• Education options include a Bachelor's in accounting or business with accounting focus, or a Bachelor's in any field with additional experience, or 60 semester units with two years of experience.
• Equity-minded approach and sensitivity to diverse student populations are expected.

Responsibilities

• Adapt accounting and recordkeeping functions using budgeting, cost, general, property, and tax accounting systems.
• Analyze financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness; prepare reports and analyses for audits and programs.
• Assist in establishment, maintenance and control of accounts, cash, funds, and district financial processes.
• Review grants, contracts, and budgets for compliance; support annual district audit preparation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff on fiscal procedures and reporting.
