Job summary

Storck USA in Chicago, IL, seeks an Accountant to support US and Canadian subsidiaries with budgeting, forecasting, and close processes. You will manage product costing, AP inquiries, and tax/audit support in a cross-functional finance team.

The role emphasizes accuracy, proactive collaboration with Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, and Corporate Controlling, and participation in annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Hybrid work and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting concepts.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Team player with collaborative attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and forecast including annual budget and quarterly forecast for US P&L.
• Provide functional finance and accounting support to key functions.
• Product costing and reporting with item-level costing insights.
• Assist with monthly close, GL postings, variance analytics, and reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable inquiries and invoice processing; ensure timely payments.
• Support auditors and tax professionals; maintain organized records.
