Qualifications

Job description

*this role is open to remote working within the UK. Successful candidates will be required to travel to their closest UNiDAYS campus (London or Nottingham) on occasion.

Role Overview

As an Account Manager, you will manage and support strategic relationships within UNiDAYS' key partnerships in the Fashion category. Working with an Account Director, you will serve as an expert on UNiDAYS’ value proposition, utilizing our marketing, media, and commercial capabilities to develop impactful student strategies for existing and new fashion partners. This quota-holding, revenue-driven role reports to the Global Category Lead (Fashion) and targets both team and individual revenue goals. You will oversee high-growth brands, ensuring partner success and fostering long-term value.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders in partner brands to align UNiDAYS initiatives with their commercial and brand objectives.
  • Lead account planning and support tier 1 partners with strategic guidance and campaign roadmaps.
  • Develop and implement 360° marketing and media plans across the full funnel, from awareness to conversion, targeting Gen Z audiences.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver trend-led merchandising, impactful campaigns, and seasonal activations.
  • Monitor campaign and account performance, providing insights and recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Identify growth opportunities in new markets and retail formats, such as in-store, regional, and graduate segments.
  • Ensure sustainable growth for partners and UNiDAYS through data-driven and student-first strategies.
  • Stay updated on cultural, seasonal, and category trends to inform strategic planning and maintain leadership in the student fashion market.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in the fashion industry or working with fashion/lifestyle brands.
  • Strong understanding of Gen Z consumer behavior, especially in fashion and youth marketing.
  • Experience managing complex partnerships and multi-stakeholder relationships.
  • Confidence in delivering pitches and insights both virtually and in person.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Creative and strategic problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • BA/BSc degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in account management, marketing strategy, or brand/media partnerships, preferably in fashion, retail, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with an ability to impact partner profitability.
  • Experience developing and executing upper-funnel brand and media plans.
