Job summary

Carrier seeks a Strategic Account Manager for its Data Center and Industrial team to grow commercial equipment, controls and service sales across North America. You will work with cross-functional teams to strengthen Carrier's competitive position, aligning strategic plans with customer needs and market opportunities.

Travel up to 25% domestically and internationally; excellent communication and HVAC design knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business or Accounting.
• Approximately 5+ years of HVAC system design or applications experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally in North America.
• Valid passport required.
• Strong communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, self-directed, and results-oriented Strategic Account Manager on our Data Center and Industrial team, focusing on business development and HVAC sales. You will be responsible for growing commercial equipment, controls and service sales in the Data Center and Industrial market in North America.

Responsibilities

• Implement account management strategies.
• Communicate with and influence internal and external customers and sales leaders regarding sales proposals and strategies.
• Improve account management policies and processes by implementing innovative solutions.
• Conduct Market analysis and identify key customer targets.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets.

• Collaborate with local Carrier Commercial Sales, Service, and Controls teams on sales strategies that improve Carrier’s competitive position.

• Providing technical and product training to key customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• ~5+ years of experience with HVAC System Design or Applications
• ~ Ability to travel 25% of the time Domestically and Internationally in North America.
• ~ Must have a Valid Passport
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business, Accounting.
• BA/BS degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing.
• Data center design experience and central utility plant design experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with both external customers and across functional teams of sales, engineering, manufacturing & marketing associates.
• Unwavering customer service orientation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).

The pay range will not be below the minimum wage applicable to the jurisdiction in which the applicant is to be employed.

This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
