The challenge? You’re building something from the ground up. That means opening conversations with unfamiliar buyers, navigating long sales cycles, and educating the market on a new way of working. In return, you’ll be rewarded with a salary of up to $90k, profit share potential (equivalent to up to 1.5 months' salary), a company car, and a credit card to cover all travel expenses.
As Strategic Account Manager at Holland Colours, you take the driver’s seat in expanding our coatings & sealants business in North America. You sell a proposition that’s as bold as it is valuable: solid and liquid colorants for coatings and sealants that transform production. Our product line offers a radically faster and more efficient manufacturing process. For your customers, that means fewer steps, faster turnaround, and real cost savings.
You will identify, approach, and convert industrial coatings manufacturers, from well-known giants to high-potential mid-size players. Your target? Technical directors, plant managers, R&D engineers facing production friction. Your efforts will be split between new business development and strategic account management, with up to 60% travel to meet clients face-to-face. Your responsibilities include:
Each Account Manager is paired with a dedicated Customer Service Representative (CSR) who handles operational tasks like processing orders and tracking production, allowing you to focus on the commercial relationship.
This role reports directly to the US Sales Manager and involves collaboration within the broader Building & Construction team of 14 colleagues. While remote, regular team meetings and virtual roundtables ensure ongoing communication and support.
