Job Responsibilities and Activities
- Serve as the Enterprise Account Leader for Synopsys' EDA SW, IP and HW products for a large Enterprise Account, marshaling resources across Synopsys Business Units (R&D, Field Support, Product Marketing) and leading a global sales team to execute the account plan.
- Create opportunities (including long‑term) to build a pipeline based on insight and knowledge of the enterprise customer’s needs.
- Build relationships at executive, senior technical management, and key contributor levels of the enterprise customer.
- Lead a team environment with other Executive Account Managers, Account Program Managers, and Corporate Applications Engineers to meet and exceed established sales objectives.
- Conduct account planning and drive technical resources to support an understanding of the customer’s challenges and requirements.
- Respond to information requests and inquiries from customers, executives and global team members.
- Coordinate the preparation of business proposals and work with internal organizations such as business units, legal, finance, and order processing to close business.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
- Minimum 12+ years of technical selling experience in EDA or semiconductor sales.
- Experience working with large customers on complex SOCs.
- Deep understanding of IC Implementation and Verification flows and methodologies, and knowledge of the complete sales process.
- Ability to grasp complex technical data and communicate it to broad technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to interact and build close relationships with Executive Management at the customer, understand their strategic priorities and drive successful business outcomes.
- Strong leadership, influencing, relationship building, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, detail‑oriented, with the ability to interact with a variety of interpersonal styles.
- Good problem‑solving, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills.
- Proven ability to understand customers’ high‑value problems and drive strategy around addressing such challenges.
- Proficient in office productivity software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.).
Benefits
The base salary range across the U.S. for this role is between $166,000–$250,000. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus, equity, and other discretionary bonuses.
