Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Foth is currently seeking a Strategic Account Manager with experience in consumer products (or related) engineering, construction, or manufacturing. This role offers opportunities for career growth, learning, and contributing to client success. The position is based in Green Bay, WI or can be remote from US-based work-from-home locations.

Position Overview

In this role, you will manage assigned clients and Foth project teams, delivering personalized, client-centered service to develop and maintain long-term relationships. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to support engineering, equipment, and capital needs, representing Foth as the primary client contact with a high degree of autonomy. Strong interpersonal, business, technical, financial, and negotiation skills are essential. The role requires revenue generation, profitability management, strategic planning, timely decision-making, and flexibility for travel (average 25-35%).

Position Responsibilities

  • Profit & Loss management for capital projects within client portfolios
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Identify and influence decision-makers at all client levels
  • Lead pursuits from qualification to closing opportunities
  • Drive development of client proposals
  • Maintain accurate client pipeline and forecasting data
  • Deliver presentations to clients
  • Coach teams for client meetings and presentations
  • Apply strategic decision-making and conflict resolution skills
  • Build client relationships and expand Foth’s industry network
  • Collaborate on resource planning with operations
  • Negotiate client contracts with risk management
  • Travel as needed, with short notice (25-35%)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience
  • 10+ years in paper, converting, plastics, or building materials industry within engineering or manufacturing
  • 7+ years in sales, account management, or stakeholder management across business units
  • 3+ years supervisory experience
