We are currently looking for a Strategic Account Executive who craves a role encompassing a diverse range of responsibilities that will support their ongoing growth and development, spanning from day-to-day operations to exciting projects and initiatives.

The Strategic Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for the retention and growth of Mansfield’s largest and/or most complex customers. The essential job duties include relationship management, solution selling, customer retention, profitability, and growth. The Sr Strategic Account Executive is responsible for achieving sales budgets and strategic account objectives, representing the entire range of company products and services, leading customer account planning, and ensuring customer needs are met. This role manages 6+ product lines and 5-10 of the company's top 150 accounts.

Responsibilities
Relationship Management
  • Prepare business rules for new customers
  • Participate in new customer implementation meetings
  • Lead internal and external meetings for onboarding and account review
  • Coordinate with departments to meet account objectives
  • Develop contact strategies and strengthen relationships
  • Proactively assess customer needs and develop joint planning processes
Account Retention
  • Ensure positive customer experiences through coordination
  • Strengthen customer relationships and increase technology utilization
  • Address issues promptly to maintain satisfaction
Account Profitability
  • Meet sales and profitability targets
  • Analyze profit/loss and implement strategies for improvement
  • Oversee contract compliance
Account Growth
  • Stay current on solutions portfolio and identify growth opportunities
  • Leverage product managers for coordinated messaging
  • Develop strategies to increase share of wallet
  • Lead solution development and coordinate internal resources
Sales Administration
  • Manage CRM data and forecasts
  • Prepare bids and proposals
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver service
  • Monitor sales reports and KPIs
Analysis & Reporting
  • Work with departments to extract and analyze data
  • Provide insights and actionable recommendations
Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA preferred
Knowledge & Experience
  • 3+ years petroleum sales experience
  • Project management and business development skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Knowledge of Mansfield product lines preferred
Qualifications & Characteristics
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple large accounts and projects

Work Environment
  • Full-time position with variable hours and travel up to 30%
  • Requires sitting, computer use, and occasional evening/weekend work
