Position Overview

The Strategic Account Executive (SAE) is responsible for the retention and growth of Mansfield's largest and/or most complex customers. The essential duties include relationship management, solution selling, customer retention, profitability, and growth. The Sr Strategic Account Executive is tasked with achieving sales budgets and strategic account objectives, representing the full range of company products and services, leading account planning, and ensuring customer needs are met. This role manages 6+ product lines and 5-10 top accounts.

Responsibilities
Relationship Management
  • Prepare business rules for new customers
  • Participate in new customer implementation meetings
  • Lead internal and external onboarding meetings
  • Coordinate with Operations for seamless onboarding
  • Develop and implement contact strategies
  • Lead regular meetings with clients to review projects and strengthen relationships
  • Establish professional relationships with key personnel
  • Lead joint account planning processes
  • Assess and validate customer needs regularly
Account Retention
  • Coordinate customer interactions across departments
  • Strengthen customer relationships and present value-added products
  • Enhance utilization of Mansfield's technology offerings
  • Handle escalations and prevent recurring issues
Account Profitability
  • Meet sales and strategic objectives
  • Analyze profit and loss statements
  • Implement profitability strategies
  • Ensure contract compliance
Account Growth
  • Stay current on solutions portfolio
  • Identify and leverage growth opportunities
  • Educate customers on product portfolio
  • Lead change initiatives and solution development
  • Develop strategies to increase share of wallet
Sales Administration
  • Manage CRM data
  • Prepare bids and proposals
  • Collaborate on business development
  • Coordinate pricing and onboarding workflows
  • Ensure effective service delivery
  • Monitor sales reports and KPIs
  • Respond promptly to customer needs
Analysis & Reporting
  • Extract and analyze data for insights
  • Build reports to support business decisions
Position Requirements
Education & Certification
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • MBA preferred
Knowledge & Experience
  • 3+ years' petroleum sales experience
  • Project management and business development skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Knowledge of Mansfield product lines
