Job Description

As the Strategic Account Executive, you will implement a strategic sales and marketing plan to contribute directly to company growth by focusing on direct sales of large national and regional accounts, including large Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) within a defined region. You will ensure Belimed’s products and services reach maximum market penetration and meet or surpass sales and revenue targets. Your role involves building relationships internally and externally, supporting the corporate sales strategy related to IDNs.

Your main goal will be to establish strategic business alliances with IDNs, key hospitals, and health systems to drive Belimed’s growth in the IDN segment. You will lead and develop innovative growth initiatives that leverage Belimed’s value proposition in a dynamic market. You will influence regional and national sales teams to sustain top-line revenue growth.

Territory & Travel

Territory: Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Eastern Tennessee

Travel: Overnight 50%-75%, mainly within the US

Compensation

$130,000-$150,000 plus 50% bonus

Responsibilities
  • Identify and deliver enterprise solutions to key IDNs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with executives and decision-makers at strategic IDNs and accounts
  • Serve as the main contact for corporate IDN relationships
  • Increase sales and market share, creating demand and converting non-contracts
  • Support regional sales and service efforts to grow business
  • Understand customer goals, needs, and challenges
  • Create and implement strategies to win new business and convert competitors
  • Develop tailored value propositions for each IDN
  • Manage customer relationship strategies and conduct business reviews
  • Maintain a target list of future opportunities and monitor healthcare trends
  • Negotiate terms and manage post-sale processes
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and maintain sales activity data in Salesforce
  • Contribute to business development outside of IDNs as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 10 years of successful sales experience, with 8 in complex healthcare capital sales
  • Minimum 3 years in IDN/executive-level healthcare sales
  • Proven success in managing complex projects and conversions
  • Strong executive presence and proactive sales approach
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
  • Leadership skills without formal authority
  • Business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experience with negotiations, contracts, and sales tools like Salesforce
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, residing near a major airport in the territory
