Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a seasoned access and reimbursement professional to support patient access across complex accounts. You will educate providers and staff to integrate products into office workflows and collaborate with hub teams and NPC associates to resolve reimbursement issues.

Responsibilities include developing POAs, communicating logistics, and serving as the reimbursement expert for offices and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; business and/or biological science preferred.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience in Patient Services, Market Access, Sales, or account management.
• 2 years in a Patient Services practice support role for specialty products.
• Experience with highly complex practices/health systems to establish access pathways.
• Strategic account management experience.
• Deep expertise integrating manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs.
• Experience with specialty products via Specialty Pharmacy networks.
• Knowledge of reimbursement pathways (specialty pharmacy, buy-and-bill, retail).
• Residence within territory or within 60 miles commuting distance.
• Travel 60–80% within territory; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Interact with large, complex accounts to support patient access; educate providers and staff to integrate products into office processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with therapeutic area office stakeholders to support patient access.
• Analyze reimbursement problems; support reimbursement with third-party payers at the provider level.
• Support pull-through of local coverage decisions and communicate policy changes affecting other departments.
• Maintain expertise in regional/local access landscape; serve as reimbursement expert for aligned products.
• Coordinate with hub and Access & Reimbursement Managers on case management and reimbursement education.
• Collaborate with NPC associates to share customer access/reimbursement insights.
• Educate HCPs on acquisition pathways and buy-and-bill end-to-end processes.
