You will ensure billet traceability and steady product flow while supporting cross-training across the department to meet operational needs.

Applicants should demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem solving, and teamwork, with a willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime as required.

Qualifications

• Ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures and housekeeping.
• Cross-train in other positions within the department as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate the mold, ladle, tundish, and control panel processes on the caster.
• Ensure accurate billet dimensions and traceability; maintain product flow through the cooling bed.
• Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards at all times.
• Support operational needs by rotating to other positions as required.
