Job summary

Nucor Corporation seeks a Caster Lead at the Kingman, AZ facility to drive safety-first operations and lead the team in manufacturing the caster area. You will set safety standards, supervise staffing, and coordinate cross-training to sustain smooth production and high reliability.

The role requires leadership experience in a melt shop environment, a commitment to safety, and flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Supervisor and Manager approval required.
• Melt Shop experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Prior teammate training and development.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. The Caster Lead builds a strong safety culture and leads the selection, training, and development of the team, working with plant leadership to set consistent standards and evaluate teammates for operational positions. Leads must be willing to cross-train across positions within the department and fill in as needed to support operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Supervisor and Manager Approval
• Melt Shop Experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
