Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Straight Truck Driver in Seattle. The role involves operating commercial vehicles to transfer donations and processed goods, while ensuring safety and efficiency.

You should have at least 2 years of driving experience, a current WA state driver’s license, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. Eligible employees receive comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly compensation.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial vehicles to designated locations including inner city traffic.
• Drive and maintain company vehicles in a safe, efficient manner.
• Transport donation containers from ADS site to plant or outside stores.
• Transport processed goods to outlying stores.
• Transport waste to transfer station.
• Pick up special donations and deliver goods as requested.
• Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and report hazards or accidents.
• Adhere to Seattle Goodwill and DOT rules and regulations.
• Perform the functions of production worker when needed.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Summary

Minimum Job Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience: 2 years driving experience
• Specific Skills/Knowledge/Licenses: current WA state driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Pre‑Employment drug and alcohol test

• Lifting and carrying 30–40 pounds; developed fine motor control for handling objects with fingers
• Standing for long periods of time; frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, stooping, squatting, pushing; climbing ladders
