Job summary

Walbec Group is seeking a CDL driver to operate a straight truck with a trailer, delivering and repositioning equipment and materials at job sites across Southern Wisconsin.

The role requires at least two years of tractor/trailer experience, a valid CDL, and willingness to work varied hours in challenging environments. On-the-job training and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years tractor/trailer driving experience hauling large machinery and material loads.
• Must hold valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL.
• Experience with various types of heavy equipment is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and knowledge of FMCSA regulations; ability to work varied hours.

The Position: We’re looking for a driver responsible for driving a straight truck w/ trailer to job sites to locate and relocate equipment and materials.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of related tractor/trailer driving experience hauling large machinery and material loads.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Valid Class A CDL or Class B CDL.
• Experience With Various Types Of Heavy Equipment (preferred).
• Some mechanical aptitude, training and/or experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills, ability to work well with others and a working knowledge of all FMCSA regulatory rules.
• Have the ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.
• Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day.
