Job summary

Tax Airfreight Inc in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a Class B P&D Driver to join our team. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, handle loading/unloading, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include reporting departures, delays, and POD information, adhering to DOT/FMCSA/CFR regulations, and maintaining professional interactions with customers and coworkers. CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain within 60 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL required with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical evaluation.
• No major driving infractions within the past 3 years.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs or greater.

• Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and CFR regulations and requirements.
• Interact with customers and co-workers in a professional manner.
• Must promote a commitment to safety and security at all times.
• Complete and certify accurate driver logs.
• Handles freight loading/unloading as required.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ yearsCDL driving experience
• Must successfullypass a pre-employment background check, drug test, & physical evaluation
• Must successfully pass aroad test / skills evaluation (administered in-house)
• Candidates must be able to lift 75lbs or greater
• All driving applicants must possess a valid CDL and Fed MedCard prior to hire
• Valid Hazmat & Tanker endorsements, or the ability to obtain both endorsementswithin the first 60 days of employment
• No major driving infractions within the past 3 years
