Qualifications

• CDL driving experience required.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical evaluation.
• Must pass a road test / skills evaluation (in-house).
• Candidate must be able to lift 75 lbs or greater.
• Valid CDL and Federal Medical Card prior to hire.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.
• No major driving infractions within the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and note defects.
• Transport freight and related materials on a pickup and delivery route, with some-touch freight.
• Report departures, delays, arrivals, and POD information.
• Deliver and pick-up freight as dispatched, in a safe and timely manner.
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, CFR regulations and requirements.
• Interact with customers and co-workers professionally.
• Promote a commitment to safety and security at all times.
• Complete and certify accurate driver logs.
• Handle freight loading/unloading as required.
• Other duties may be assigned by supervisor or manager.
