Fred Meyer, Inc. is seeking a strong Asset Protection leader to oversee the department and uphold our commitment to safety, integrity and excellent customer service. You will supervise staff, coordinate investigations, and work to safeguard assets across our stores.

The role emphasizes empowering teams, maintaining compliance with policies, and delivering proactive protection strategies while supporting a positive guest experience and store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in retail asset protection
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass drug test
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment with high accuracy

Minimum

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus one year experience in retail asset protection or a combination of relevant education and experience
• Minimum 18 years of age/21 in Alaska
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
• Ability to organize/prioritize tasks/projects
• Familiarity with asset protection terms and processes
• Ability to make independent judgments with minimal supervision
• Ability to continue education
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass all state and federal private security requirements for licensing or certification

• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
