Job summary

SESC0 Lighting Inc is seeking a creative Social Media Content Creator to grow our digital presence through engaging, high quality content. This person will work directly with our social media manager who will give creative direction and assignments.

This role involves capturing and creating photo and video content, developing short-form videos, assisting with social media campaigns, and helping manage content across our social media platforms.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio or examples of social media content, photography, video, Reels, TikToks, or other digital work.
• Experience managing or contributing content to platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Experience working in a church, nonprofit, brand, creative agency, or similar environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Capture photo and video content on a regular basis.
• Create Reels, Shorts, TikToks, stories, graphics, and other social-first content.
• Edit and prepare content for publishing.
• Assist in developing and maintaining the social media content calendar.
• Write captions and prepare posts for publication.
• Cover events and other important moments in real time.
• Identify stories, people, moments, and ideas that can become engaging social content.
• Monitor current trends and bring new creative ideas to the team.
• Help maintain consistency in branding, messaging, and visual style.
• Review content performance and use analytics to improve future content.
• Collaborate with communications, creative, marketing, leadership, and other teams as needed.
