Job summary

Honest History is seeking a Content Manager to plan, create, and publish content across magazines, podcasts, and digital channels. This full-time, hybrid role is based near Los Angeles International Airport, with in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility.

You will manage editorial calendars, coordinate writers and designers, and ensure content aligns with our educational mission and brand voice. Strong copywriting and storytelling are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong copywriting skills with design skills a huge plus (Adobe, Canva)
• Attention to detail and storytelling ability
• Experience in content management, including editorial calendars and multi-channel production
• Ability to adapt tone for children’s educational media
• Background in journalism, publishing, or education, preferably with family content
• Experience collaborating with writers, editors, designers in hybrid environments
• Familiarity with CMS, PM tools, and basic analytics to improve performance
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications/English/Journalism/Education/Media Studies, or equivalent experience

• Oversee planning, creation, and publishing of content across print, podcasts, and digital channels
