You will collaborate with directors, producers, and editors across short and long-form content, craft outlines and scripts, review footage, and help guide pacing and narrative continuity.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Story Producer, Segment Producer, or Writer in the film, TV, or digital media industry.
• Strong understanding of documentary-style storytelling and editorial pacing.
• Ability to transform raw interviews and footage into structured, emotive content.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with directors, producers, and editors to craft compelling story arcs for short-form and long-form content.
• Write outlines, scripts, VO, and interview questions based on creative briefs and client messaging.
• Review interviews, B-roll, and field footage to identify themes and narrative threads.
• Pre-screen and interview on-camera talent.
• Shape rough cuts by selecting soundbites and structuring scenes.
• Provide creative feedback during post-production to maintain story clarity and pacing.
• Conduct background research to support story development and factual accuracy.
• Track story continuity across episodes or formats.
• Participate in pitches and content brainstorms.
