Job summary

FOX 4 in Dallas–Fort Worth seeks a talented News Photographer to tell visual stories across broadcast, streaming and digital platforms. Join a top-market newsroom known for breaking news, severe weather coverage, and investigative reporting, with a brand-new facility and cutting-edge gear.

You will shoot, edit, and produce compelling content under tight deadlines, collaborate with reporters and producers, and help deliver news that informs and engages millions of viewers in North Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Communications/Journalism or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years as a television news photographer in a competitive market.
• Strong video composition, lighting and audio skills.
• Experience with live transmission technologies (Satellite, Cellular Bonding, IP).
• Non-linear editing proficiency (Edius, Adobe Premiere or similar).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit high-quality video and audio for newscasts and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with reporters and producers to create engaging, deadline-driven stories.
• Cover breaking news and live events using ENG and IP-based transmission technology.
• Produce content optimized for broadcast, web, streaming, and social media platforms.
• Operate and maintain cameras, lighting, audio gear, live transmission equipment, and news vehicles.
• Exercise strong editorial judgment in fast-paced environments.
