Job summary

Fox Television Stations’ KDFW FOX 4 in Dallas-Fort Worth is seeking a high-energy News Producer to lead production of both linear and streaming newscasts. You will oversee leads, teases and breakouts, directing coverage under pressure and coordinating with newsroom, digital, social and production teams.

The role requires strong writing, show production skills, and 3–5 years of television news experience in a medium to major market.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or Communications is required.
3–5 years of television news experience in a medium to major market.
Strong writing and show production skills are essential.
Excellent communication, news judgment and data/research abilities required.
Ability to work under intense deadlines.

Responsibilities

Show Production: Produce all elements of linear and streaming newscasts, including leads and teases.
Breaking News: Lead coverage of live and breaking news events.
Live Stream Management: Produce and manage live streaming coverage for FOX LOCAL apps and social platforms.
Editorial Leadership & Collaboration: Align coverage with newsroom, digital, social and production teams.
Audience Engagement & Distribution: Distribute content across FOX LOCAL apps and social platforms with growth in mind.
Technical Integration: Use news computer systems and digital production techniques.
General Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
