Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Stormwater Maintenance Laborer to join Torrent Resources’ team in Fontana, CA. Under supervision, you will clean stormwater structures and assist in repairs of drywells, envibro systems, and inlets.

You will perform tasks safely, operate company vehicles, and assist with daily documentation while collaborating with teammates to meet daily objectives.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to them for a safe environment.
• Proven punctuality, reliability, and consistent work performance.
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders up to 30' and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Standing next to and entering drywells and stormwater manholes.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all daily tasks are completed in a safe manner.
• Removing trash, leaves, sediment, and debris from stormwater drainage systems.
• Collaboration with team members to accomplish daily tasks.
• Understanding and following Confined Space Entry protocols.
• Performing daily vehicle inspections.
• Assisting in daily work documentation.
• Performing system repairs as necessary.
• Other duties as needed.
