Candidates should have a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree and 2+ years in drainage design, with proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, and Hydro CAD. This remote position requires proximity to a facility.

Responsibilities

• Support field and internal teams to achieve goals.
• Assist sales during bids by providing design review and confirming product design.

The Stormwater Solutions Engineer provides high quality engineering and design services to meet and exceed internal and external customer expectations. Solutions Engineers work with internal and external clients to ensure that project solutions are designed to meet stormwater and treatment requirements. Solutions Engineers proactively support the field sales team to establish and build civil engineering customer relationships and meet the commercial objectives of the company.

Job Location

• This position is remote and the candidate will need to be located near one of our facilities in the United States.

Job Responsibilities

Present project-specific solutions to civil engineering customers.

Provide high-quality design calculations, basic illustrations, and advice to integrate and secure Oldcastle products on site plans.

Respond to civil engineering clients on project-specific inquiries and industry questions including local stormwater regulations.

Establish and maintain rapport with civil engineer customers.

Support field and internal team members to achieve team goals.

Assist sales team during the project bid phase by providing design review and confirming appropriate product design.

Provide project and technical support for submittal drawings, calculations, regulatory approvals, production and product delivery.

Maintain engineering standards and procedures.

Ensure pertinent project information is accurately entered into the database.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

2+ years of experience with solid background in drainage design

Ability to prepare and review standard engineering documentation and plans

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Enthusiasm and passion for the business and achieving organizational goals

Team player able to share thoughts openly, accept new ideas and get the job done in a highly interactive process

Knowledge of software: AutoCAD, BIM, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, HydroCAD, MathCAD, etc.

Compensation

• Annual target salary of $80,000.00 to $90,000.00.
