Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Stormwater Maintenance Laborer to join Torrent Resources team. Under supervision of the Field Operations Supervisor, the Laborer performs tasks necessary for cleaning stormwater structures and supporting repairs.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, ability to operate company vehicle, lift up to 75 pounds, and work outdoors in varying weather. Emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to drive company pickup truck and trailer.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing or walking for extended periods.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to adhere to them to ensure a safe working environment.
• Punctuality, reliability, and consistent work performance.
• Ascending/descending ladders up to 30 feet.
• Lifting up to 75 pounds and carrying equipment near manholes and drains.
• Working near vehicle and heavy equipment traffic.

Torrent Resources, a CRH company, is seeking a Stormwater Maintenance Technician to join our team. Under supervision of the Field Operations Supervisor, the Stormwater Maintenance Laborer performs such tasks and duties as are necessary for cleaning stormwater structures and systems including but not limited to drywells, envibro systems, treatment systems, and stormwater inlets. The position also supports the repairing of stormwater structures as needed.

Job Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a company vehicle
• Ability to drive company pickup truck and trailer
• The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and standing or walking for extended period of times
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to consistently adhere to them to ensure a safe working environment
• Proven track record of punctuality, reliability, and consistent work performance
• Ascending or descending ladders up to 30’ deep
• Balancing, climbing, kneeling, lifting up to 75 pounds (manhole covers, drywell covers and grates, catch basin grates), pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, and walking carrying support equipment
• Standing next to and entering drywells, catch basins and stormwater manholes that can be 5’ deep or deeper
• Working near vehicle and heavy equipment traffic
