Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a Stormwater Project Manager to support and expand stormwater compliance services across Northern Indiana & Southwest Michigan.

This role emphasizes growth, client relations, and integration of compliance into active projects. The ideal candidate is independent and technically strong, with hands-on NPDES permit inspections, SWPPP oversight, and construction-related environmental compliance experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience performing NPDES stormwater and/or SWPPP inspections.
• Working knowledge of NPDES permitting requirements, erosion and sediment control BMPs, and stormwater compliance documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including client-facing interactions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite; ability to learn company-specific compliance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform NPDES stormwater compliance inspections and reporting in accordance with permit requirements.
• Conduct, manage, and audit SWPPPs to ensure permit compliance.
• Review construction plans to ensure ESC measures are effective and practical for field use.
• Support NPDES permitting compliance, scheduling, corrective actions, and documentation tracking.
• Serve as a client-facing representative for stormwater and NPDES services; support business development and growth.
• Coordinate with contractors and staff to ensure proper installation and documentation of BMPs.
• Prepare inspection reports, compliance logs, and regulatory correspondence.
