Job summary

AQUALIS is seeking an Estimator in Alexandria, IN to collect and analyze stormwater project data, estimate time, costs, materials and labor, and write repair proposals with the Project Management team. You will support our nationwide stormwater repair operations and drive revenue growth while ensuring compliance and environmental protection.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (Environmental Science, Construction Management, etc.).
• Strong business acumen with motivation to drive business revenue.
• Experience projecting costs for restorative repair projects preferred.
• Aptitude for drafting technical persuasive proposals using detailed descriptions and site photographs.
• 2-5 years’ experience in stormwater management, sediment & erosion control, construction, or other environmental services preferred.
• Ability to interpret and analyze site and drainage plans; proficiency with Word, Excel and Adobe.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical estimates for repair, remediation and rehabilitation projects from information received such as asset drawings, specifications, photo documentation and customer interviews.
• Perform site visits as required by internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure bid deadlines and customer presentation requirements are met while proactively identifying and suggesting solutions for known compliance deficiencies.
• Prepare detailed scopes for clients by analyzing regulations and in-field documentation.
• Develop repair budgets by identifying and projecting all relevant costs.
• Analyze data and track work orders in Microsoft Dynamics and client portals.
• Maintain and update master pricing sheet and cost keys.
• Coordinate with project management team; supervise subcontractors and repair crews.
