Job summary

Osborn Consulting Inc is seeking a Water Resources Project Engineer to join the Water Business Group in Bellevue/Bellingham. You’ll design stormwater drainage systems, perform hydrologic/hydraulic analyses, and contribute from planning to construction-ready design documents.

You will work with a collaborative team, gain leadership opportunities, and receive mentorship while delivering projects for state and local agencies. This is an in-office role with required office presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field is required.
• Hold an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or obtain within six months.
• 0–3 years of experience in stormwater, drainage, or surface water design.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality engineering reports, calculations, exhibits, and design drawings.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and develop design calculations.
• Conduct site visits and data analysis as needed.
• Develop PS&E and QA/QC documentation.
• Provide design solutions within budget and schedule, meeting codes and client standards.
• Support Project/Design Manager with deliverable coordination.
