The City of Sandy Springs is seeking an experienced and technically strong Stormwater Permit Manager to lead the City’s stormwater regulatory compliance efforts and help protect the quality of our local waterways.
This position manages all aspects of the City’s stormwater regulatory compliance requirements, including coordination of the City’s stormwater team, other City departments, legal and financial staff, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders. The Stormwater Permit Manager plays an important role in ensuring compliance with Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permit requirements while supporting initiatives that improve water quality and stormwater infrastructure throughout the community.
The position also supports stormwater infrastructure investigations through research of legal documents, interviews, field assessments, and technical analysis to develop recommendations for infrastructure maintenance, repair, and construction.
