Apex Companies is seeking a Landscape Foreman (Stormwater) in Baton Rouge, LA to lead crews and maintain stormwater infrastructure on commercial properties. This role offers a hands-on leadership position with safety-first expectations and opportunities for overtime and travel.

You’ll direct 2-4 crew members, coordinate mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, and light construction, and document field work. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally required.

Formación

• 2-4+ years of experience with manual labor, outdoor experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials preferred.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally required. 15 days of travel is typical (M-F only).
• Due to DOT interstate transportation requirements, employees must meet the minimum requirement of 21 years of age.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation required.
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, direct, and schedule landscaping, routine maintenance, and light repairs of stormwater infrastructure (retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets).
• Lead a crew of 2-4 crew members, communicating and enforcing all safety regulations.
• Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client properties.
• Operate landscaping and light construction equipment and maintain the equipment trailer.
• Prepare reports and document work in the field using Apex proprietary systems.
• Travel from the shop location via the company truck to client sites locally and regionally. 15 days of travel is typical (M-F only).
