Job summary

The City of Abilene Stormwater Division seeks a responsible, hands-on supervisor to lead a crew performing maintenance and construction on stormwater lines, pumps, and related structures. This role supports MS4 permit compliance, oversees inspections, and coordinates daily field activities.

You will prepare reports, maintain records, train staff on safety policies, and ensure timely preventive maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of stormwater operations and MS4 maintenance requirements.
• Ability to lead a crew and coordinate field activities.
• Strong safety awareness and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in maintenance and construction of stormwater lines and pumps.
• Oversee MS4 compliance activities and inspections of structures.
