Responsibilities

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are currently seeking to hire a Stormwater Control Foreman to provide leadership for stormwater management crews in our Wyoming operations. This person will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that erosion control management tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. The position is based in Tioga, ND, competitive pay based on experience. This position is full time with opportunities for growth within the company.

Projects and Duties Include

  • Conduct assessments of client project areas to identify erosion risks and determine best practices for stormwater control.
  • Plan and implement installation of erosion control measures (sediment barriers, silt fences, wattles, etc.).
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate erosion control effectiveness.
  • Update inspection and repair documentation in a digital data management system.
  • Oversee the maintenance and proper use of erosion control equipment and materials.

Additional Job Tasks May Include
  • Assist with vegetation monitoring/surveys and other reclamation projects.
  • Identify plants using a key.
  • Manage weeds using a truck, ATV/UTV, or backpack mounted herbicide spray equipment.
Qualifications

Applicants must have:

  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience leading a stormwater management program (or equivalent education).
  • Strong background in office and field use of GIS.
  • A solid mechanical aptitude.
  • A commitment to high standards in safety.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel regularly to project locations.
  • Ability to participate in pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
