Job summary

Magnolia Plumbing, LLC is seeking a Helper for our Stormwater Department to support stormwater and drainage projects. The role involves outdoor, physical labor under foremen and tradesmen, with a focus on safety and learning new trades.

Responsibilities include assisting with drainage installations, cleaning structures, digging ditches, loading materials, and site cleanup. A background check and drug screening are part of our standard hiring process.

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including digging, lifting, and shoveling.

• Ability to pass a Flagger written test; training will be provided.
• Ability to work in confined spaces as required.
• 2 years of construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist foremen and tradesmen with daily stormwater and drainage work
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining storm drainage structures
• Assist with stormwater drainage system installation and maintenance
• Dig ditches and manholes as directed
• Perform continuous shoveling of wet material
• Load and unload materials, tools, and deliveries
• Assist with jobsite cleanup and demolition
• Perform flagging as directed
• Assist with confined space work
• Follow directions from foremen and tradesmen
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
