Harris County is seeking a Stormwater Quality Plan Reviewer to support the Environmental and Watershed Protection Group by technically reviewing engineered and non-engineered plans for compliance with stormwater regulations. The role focuses on protecting Harris County water quality and ensuring land development meets regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include regulating development, reviewing plans, issuing permitting guidance, data entry, and public communication.

Qualifikationen

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn department-supported applications.
• Ability to read and write technically and clearly.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, developers, and the public.

Aufgaben

• Regulate land development for compliance with laws and regulations.
• Review construction plans for regulatory compliance.
• Provide detailed permitting instructions and requirements.
• Ensure projects meet minimum design criteria.
• Enter permit data accurately and timely.
• Communicate with the public by phone, email, and in person.
• Assist with stormwater compliance efforts as needed.
• Support disaster recovery planning and operations as required.
