Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required, or education/experience combination.
• One year experience as support staff.
• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business, accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze stormwater billing accounts for accuracy.
• Process journal entries and payments; correct discrepancies.
• Enter and update data in the utility billing system.
• Assist with billing functions, audits, and revenue reconciliation.
• Respond to citizen inquiries with clear, courteous customer service.
• Coordinate with internal/external departments and partners to resolve issues.
• Support the development and implementation of improved billing procedures.
• Prepare reports and maintain files.
