American Electric Power is seeking a Stores/Driver role in Columbus, OH to operate trucks and cranes, load and unload materials, and maintain storage areas. You will work under DOT rules, maintain records, and ensure safety while handling heavy equipment and batteries.
Requirements include a high school diploma/GED, Class A CDL, crane certification within 1–2 attempts, and willingness to relocate within 45 miles of Minerva Annex, Columbus. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.
Responsible for the safe operation of storeroom to ensure that material, supplies and equipment needs of distribution and transmission are met. The following sets forth the principal job duties which are normally to be performed. It is not intended to limit the assignment of work or set the degree of supervision under all conditions. An employee may perform miscellaneous, related and incidental work in addition to that outlined below.

Compensation Range: $39.53 - $41.28
The Physical Demand Level for this job is: H – Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
