AEP Texas is seeking an entry‑level Material Services associate to assist with storeroom operations and material accountability in Texas. You will perform duties under supervision while progressing to independent work with guidance.
Responsibilities include receiving and inspecting materials, filing records, operating inventory systems (Maximo) and basic MS Office tools, and assisting in packing and shipping tasks. The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds and a valid state driver’s license.

Assist the Material Services organization by performing duties related to material accountability, operation of the storeroom and storage yards.
Must possess the appropriate State drive license. If a Commercial Drive License (CDL) is required, the incumbent must obtain the CDL within six months of entry into this job classification or vacate the current job classification. Must be able to operate material handling equipment including motorized forklifts and road vehicles.

Compensation Grade: N024-L60
Compensation Range: $27.14 - $29.81
The Physical Demand Level for this job is: H – Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
