SALARY RANGE
$34,760.00 - $38,236.00 Annually $1,336.92 - $1,470.62 Biweekly

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is the point of contact for the Motor Pool. The main function is to distribute vehicles to homes on a daily basis for off campus trips. The position also checks these vehicles in, refuels, and inspects for damages. Additionally, the position ensures fuel is ordered on an as needed basis. This position also tracks and reports vehicle mileage reports and forwards these reports to FLEET Management Tallahassee on a monthly basis.
Tracks vehicle assignments for all vehicles located on campus. Ensure each vehicle is equipped with the necessary keys, maps, as well as a copy of the registration and insurance information. Creates and maintains the motor pool schedule that tracks the use of the motor pool vehicles by department and/or facility staff. Provides organizational codes and expansion options for gas purchases. Calculates and audits the gas purchases made with the state issued credit cards at Tacachale and off campus. Tracks, delivers, and files the invoices to ensure correct payment. Transports state vehicles to and from outside vendors for repair. Completes and submits receiving reports to accounting for payment.
Inputs the monthly vehicle recap data to the FLEETWAVE system for all Tacachale vehicles and generates monthly reports. Inputs technical data, type memorandums, reports, records, contracts and other office documents. Establish and maintain an inventory of supplies to be provided to the departments within Tacachale. Ensures receiving reports are prepared and forwarded to accounting within the established timeframes.
Monitors and ensures each department and/or facility is in compliance with scheduled maintenance of Tacachale vehicles. Orders gasoline and diesel as needed. Utilizes the Fleet System; inputs new vehicles into the system and makes original and replacement gas keys. Acquires vehicle titles, registrations, license plates and gas credit cards within 30 calendar days of vehicle assignments.
Provides advice and technical assistance to Tacachale Staff regarding any vehicle issues or problems. Maintains contracts with vendors. Coordinates the receipt, inspection and distribution of supplies. Ensures accountability and control of all expendable and consumable materials.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT
