SALARY RANGE

$34,760.00 - $38,236.00 Annually $1,336.92 - $1,470.62 Bi-Weekly

The hiring salary may exceed the maximum posted salary.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This is work delivering and picking up various food related items around campus to the residential living facilities as well as performing janitorial duties in the food service department. This is to include but not limited to the following:

Load deliver and pick up food carts, count milk and juice accurately. Delivers grocery and supplement orders, returning signed order sheets to office. Follows established procedures, including maintaining and submitting accurate vehicle logs. Use assigned vehicles properly and as directed. Ensure keys to vehicles are returned to proper place when not being used.

Sweep and mop food service building areas assigned. Remove trash from all areas, keep kitchen areas clean and sanitary at all times. Removes trash and cardboard from kitchen and take it to appropriate areas (recycling/dumpsters). Ensure dumpsters remain locked at all times.

Works tray line, pot room and dish room assigned.

Perform other related duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Corrective Lenses Restricted license are acceptable provided the driver wears the corrective lenses while operating a state vehicle.
  • Must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency.
  • Must be willing to work beyond the normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels and meet the needs of the Agency.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, bend, crouch, reach overhead, stand, and walk on a consistent basis.
  • Must be able to do manual dexterity (i.e., use fingers, hands, and arms)
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 50lbs

This position may be required to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency per APD OP 2-0035.

This position is critical to the safety and supervision of residents and may require the incumbent to work beyond their normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels in the facility.

BACKGROUND SCREENING REQUIREMENT

It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
