Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Warehouse Associate to join our dedicated team at a customer site. You will receive, stock, pick, pack, and dispatch goods using established procedures to ensure accurate inventory and on-time shipments.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, verifying items against orders, operating forklifts or pallet jacks, maintaining stock records, and following safety regulations; strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3+ months relevant experience or training.
• Forklift or cherry picker experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and work orders.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn software tools.
• Mathematical ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Ability to work in a team and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
• Safety-minded with ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Complete shipments by processing and loading orders per schedules.
• Unload, receive, and stock incoming goods; inspect for damage.
• Sort, label, move, and store items in shelves or bins.
• Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to standards.
• Prepare, pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods and verify quantities.
• Load trucks for delivery; ensure proper securing of loads.
• Consolidate freight and manage oversize shipments with carriers.
• Enter stock data into systems and respond to inquiries.
• Follow safety regulations and workplace guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
