Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Storeroom Warehouse Associate to join our team at a customer location. You will receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch goods following established procedures, while ensuring accuracy and safe handling of items throughout the warehouse.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ months of related experience, with basic computer skills and forklift familiarity. Overtime and physical requirements may apply per site policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ months relevant experience or training.
• Experience loading/unloading, picking/packing or moving goods in a warehouse; forklift/cherry picker preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge; MS-Office, Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21 familiarity.
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and ability to compute rates and percentages.
• Ability to compile routine reports and write correspondence.
• Team-oriented and self-motivated to meet tasks and goals.
• Attention to detail and safety-mindedness.

Responsibilities

• Receives, handles, stocks, stores and records goods per procedures.
• Unloads inbound goods, checks against invoices, prepares items for storage.
• Sorts, labels, and places items on racks or bins; optimizes warehouse space.
• Picks, packs and dispatches outgoing goods; uses pick sheets to locate items.
• Loads trucks for delivery; installs strapping or padding to prevent damage.
• Operates warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed.
• Maintains up-to-date stock records in database and flags discrepancies.
• Supports inventory counts and safety regulations.
