Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring for a Storeroom Supervisor at Trident Hospital in Charleston, SC. This role oversees inventory activities, supervises staff, and ensures timely receipt, storage, and shipment of materials.

We offer full-time and part-time positions with a 7:00 am to 3:00 pm schedule; pay ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. One year of supervisor experience is preferred, with opportunities to grow within a nationwide healthcare cuisine and logistics

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates who order, receive, and put away inventory.
• Supervise associates who issue or ship materials.
• Ensure stocks and supplies are adequate and stored to preserve quality.
• Ensure that FIFO system is used to minimize waste.
• Plan storeroom layout considering stock turnover and size.
• Communicate with management and advise on non-usable, slow-moving, excess stock.
• Resolve discrepancies between inventory and stock-control records.
• Assist vendors in gaining access to deliver and supervise while area is unsecure.
• Cover shifts for storeroom employees on vacation or leave.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
